Back in the gilded age of Cleveland, Louis Comfort Tiffany was a well-known artist in the area. Exquisite colorful windows for homes, churches, commercial buildings, and mausoleums were his mainstay, but he also created lamps and mosaics, and designed home interiors and gravestones. Plus, his methods for creating new types of glass helped his reputation soar. Come learn about this fascinating artist’s place in Cleveland history as Barbara Snow considers some of the many works of Tiffany here in our own backyard. Learn about a Cleveland woman’s connection to some of his most successful creations.
