Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library-The Literacy Cooperative

Did you know that the single most important factor influencing a child’s early educational success is an introduction to books and being read to at home before starting school? As a parent or caregiver, snuggling and reading daily with your child is one of the most important actions you can take to help build their brain and set them up for future success.

Thanks to support from the Lubrizol Corporation, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is now available to support families with young children in Wickliffe. This unique free book-gifting program mails a new, age appropriate, high quality book to registered children (up to 5 years old) each month.

Enrollment forms are available at Wickliffe Public Library. Please help spread the word about this program so every eligible child (ages 4 ½ and younger) may be registered. The Literacy Cooperative of Greater Cleveland is pleased to support family literacy with this program and instill a love of books and reading.
